Clobber & Sprout is a vintage clothing rental company, offering a sustainable alternative to fast fashion. We provide a bespoke, revolving, vintage wardrobe, delivered directly to your door.
Alice & Sam have been running a clothing and houseplant stall at vintage markets across London since 2018. In 2020, a few weeks before the pandemic hit the UK, Clobber & Sprout launched our vintage clothing rental concept.
With the knowledge that fast fashion is contributing to ruining the planet, and the belief that things don't have to be this way, the online business was born.
We now deliver bespoke vintage clothing to customers all over the UK.
We were delighted to be awarded 'Planet Mark Start' accreditation in July, and completed the 'Innovators for Sustainable Fashion' business accelerator at Cambridge University in October.
ABOUT OUR CLOTHES
All of our clothes are hand-picked by us from specialist, UK-based suppliers. We sort, wash, quality check, style and pack everything ourselves in Crystal Palace, South London.
We never buy or generate any new clothes, as we believe there are already more than enough clothes in the world for everyone. This is key to reducing our own carbon footprint and fighting the horrible impact of fast fashion.
Once our clothes have been worn as many times as possible we re-sell them or donate them to charity. This ensures they continue to be loved and used over and over again.
